He smelled, his dispassion was of despicable magnitude. Ashley Williams who played her heart out as the young granddaughter. Having to deal with the stench of life that was thrown at her. Chain smoking Jake loved his TV, obsessed with playing the lottery, and forever challenged with the situation of being strapped with raising his granddaughter was more than the old man could handle.
